01. Open the Image > Image > Grey scale> Image > Increase colour depth > 16 mill. > Adjust > Hue and Suration > find the colour you like >

02. Image > Add border 10 x Symmetric > Colour white > Magic wand (make sure the settings are 0 = zero) Click the white border > Selection > Invert >

03. Effect > 3D Effects > Cut out > See settings at image 1 > repeat Cut out this time with a minus in front of the H & V> Selections > Invert > Still selected

04. Effect > Texture Effects > Blinds > See settings at image 2 > Still selected

Remember to save often

05. Effects > FM Tile Tools > Blend Emboss > Still selected > Effect > Art Media Effects > Charcoal > See settings at image 3 > You can choose to keep this border colour or > Adjust > Hue and Suration > use same colour as last > Deselect

06. Image > Add border > 1 x symmetric > colour black > Image > Add border > 2 x symmetric > colour white > Magic wand > Select border > Fill with the choice of silver pattern > See settings at image 4 >Deselect

07. Image > Add border > 1 x symmetric > colour black > Repeat #6 and #7 >

08. Image > Add border > 7 x symmetric > colour white > Magic Wand > Select border > Fill with the choice of silver pattern > Same settings as last > Effects > Penta. com > Jeans > default settings > Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel > "mci_bevel" > Deselect

09. Repeat #6 and #7

10. Image > Add border > 25 x symmetric > colour white > Magic wand > fill with the medium color of the image (mine is #758487) > Effect > Greg's Factory Output vol. II > Pool Shadow > See settings at image 5 > Still Selected

11. Layers > Add New Layer > Fill with the darker colour of the image (mine is #596163) > Layers > Load/Save Mask > Find Mask mcp-mask_stribes_02 > Layers Palette > Right click and merge > merge group > Layers > Merge > Merge Visible >

12. Repeat #6 and #7 twice > Deselect

13. Image > Add border > 10 x symmetric > colour white > Fill with the choice of silver pattern > Same settings as last > Effects > Penta. com > Jeans > Default settings > Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel > "mcp_bevel" > Deselect

14. Repeat #6 and #7 twice > Deselect

15. Image > Add border > 35 x symmetric > colour white > Select border > fill with the lighter colour > Effects > Greg's Factory Output vol. II > Pool Shadow > Still selected

16. Effect > Tramage > Tow The Line > Default settings

17. Adjust > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask > See settings at image 9 > Deselect

18. Image > Add border > 2 x symmetric > colour black >

19. Image > Add border > 15 x symmetric > colour white > Select border with Magic wand and fill with the silver pattern as last time > Penta.com > Jeans > Default settings > Effects > 3D Effects > Inner bevel > mci_soft_001 > Deselect

20. Repeat #6 and #7 > Image > resize to 500 x 500 pixels > Add text and/or watermark and you are done. But if ~

21. If you like to have a frame like the samples below you can use the settings like this and with small adjustment like O as well as the shadows settings here
There are many ways to do this but it is up to you which you like best.
